Meet Us
The woman behind the philosophy.

Alexis Colantonio has studied wellness and health for the past 13 years. Alexis, had a pivotal moment in her mid-twenties that reminded her of an excerpt from a Robert Frost poem, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." Having an auto-immune disease flair up while in law school, she found a deficiency in the traditional medical world even in New York City. No one could address the cause of her flair up, they prescribed medicine to address the symptoms but could not diagnosis the root cause. She met a integrative medicine doctor who addressed her leaky gut, healed it through diet changes, supplements and meditation. The immediate relief, sparked curiosity in the relationship between nutrition and mind in overall health. Alexis started down the road of overall wellness and has not looked back. She follows her curiousness continuing her education and certifications and constantly exploring new research and articles on health and wellness.
Alexis received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Skidmore College, her culinary degree from The Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts, is a certified Three Principles Practitioner through the One Thought Institute and a certified Mediation & Mindfulness Instructor through the McClean Meditation Institute. She lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
Alexis is passionate about supporting clients in whatever avenue feels right for them. . . nutrition, state of mind or meditation & mindfulness. She works with people from all walks of life in need of varying degrees of support.
